What do you love about yoga?
It’s an opportunity to be creative with asana sequences and great music, it also connects us with our bodies and breath, while also creating an avenue to nourish the body and also slow the busy ‘monkey’ mind.

What made you want to complete your teacher training? Tell us a little bit more about your background.
I studied both Yoga and Pilates at Essence of Living, on the Goldcoast in 2013, and have recently completed a refresher course for Yoga again with Essence of Living this year, I am now 400RYT qualified. I am also a qualified Personal Trainer.

What kind of experience do you aim to create in your classes?
I am to create a space where people can show up and be themselves, somewhere where they can let go, surrender if they need to and also put in the work.

What do you like to focus on in your classes?
Breathe, Philosophy, great music and a fun and relaxing atmosphere.

In one short sentence, how would you describe your teaching style?
I love a strong yet relaxing class, filled with philosophy and love. I want to bring my passion for yoga to those I teach.

What is your favourite class to teach?
Vinyasa Flow (Harlow B or A)

What are 3 things that make your heart sing?
The ocean, travel, yoga!

Being able to walk out of class and feel better than I did walking in. The ability to work my body in a dynamic way to feel more elongated and toned.

I love being able to express my love for pilates through instructing. Helping clients understand their own bodies and help them feel better walking out of class.

What kind of experience do you aim to create in your classes?

I aim to create a welcoming respectful environment for everyone, making it fun and encouraging them to come back.

I like to focus on my clients individual needs, lengthening & strengthening the whole body to achieve all the benefits Pilates has to offer.

What made you want to complete your teacher training? Tell us a little bit more about your background.

I started practicing yoga when facing my own personal challenges. Yoga and teacher training helped me heal and create positive change in my life so I wanted to share that with everyone.

What kind of experience do you aim to create in your classes?

I want students to experience the ancient practice of yoga and the science that supports it. By creating a fun and safe environment where everyone is welcome regardless of their experience or level, they can leave with a sense of inner peace.

What do you like to focus on in your classes?

Alignment, pranic field, flexibility and knowledge of the mind and body. Through practice, show clients what they are capable of.

In one short sentence, how would you describe your teaching style?

A combination of ancient yoga philosophy, neuroscience, psychology, compassion, mindfulness and honour.

What is your favourite class to teach?

Vinyasa flow, but I love them all.

Learning new things, happy compassionate people and music

I love the connection it holds to mind, body and soul. A series of low impact movements can deliver such defined results!

What made you want to complete your teacher training? Tell us a little bit more about your background.

I was drawn to pilates from a young age. I loved how it lengthened and toned my body, while being fun and challenging at the same time. I was addicted! I got my certification so I could share my love for it.

What kind of experience do you aim to create in your classes?

A fun and challenging class with great music that also highlights low impact movement in a dynamic workout. While always drawing back to mindfulness.

What do you like to focus on in your classes?

Form, engagement and reminders on how core is our powerhouse.

Fun, dynamic, sculpting.
